Having come from a culmination of a few popular Twin Cities bands, Sonically Speaking began in the winter of 2014 and forged a unique sound that is catching on everywhere they go. Not liking to be categorized into one genre, they set upon a journey to combine an energetic mix of dance, soul, funk and rock. Armed with knowledge and expertise of being in other projects, they took the best parts of the previous bands and experiences and rolled it into this group. When you come to a show, you might hear them play Marvin Gaye, Hall and Oates, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Daft Punk, Lenny Kravitz, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and so on. Sonically Speaking has a musical genre that spans over the last 40 years. They are bound and determined to keep your crowd dancing.
